HOW TO INCREASE YOUR INTELLIGENCE

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR INTELLIGENCE

Once in a distant land, there lived a young musician named Amar. He had a burning passion for music and a dream to become a master of his craft. Amar sought out the guidance of a renowned Zen Master, who was known for nurturing talents and shaping them into extraordinary musicians.

Under the guidance of the Zen Master, Amar began his musical journey, dedicated and eager to learn. As the days passed, another aspiring musician, Ravi, joined them. Ravi had a relentless thirst for knowledge and an insatiable hunger to excel in music. Amar, on the other hand, started feeling a sense of neglect, as he perceived the Jan Master investing more time and attention in Ravi’s training.

One day, Amar gathered the courage to confront his master. “Master, I have been your disciple for so long, yet it seems like Ravi is learning more quickly than I am. Why is that?” he questioned with a hint of frustration.

The Zen Master, with a calm demeanor, responded, “Dear Amar, let me share a story with you. Once, a traveler journeyed under the scorching sun, feeling the intense heat. Thirsty and tired, he stumbled upon a well. However, there was no bucket or rope to draw water. Despite his thirst, he moved on without drinking.

“Later, another traveler arrived at the same well. Equally thirsty, he, too, noticed the absence of tools to fetch water. However, this traveler didn’t give up. He searched around, found a bucket, and then fashioned a rope from the long grass nearby. With determination, he drew water from the well, quenched his thirst, and continued his journey.”

The Zen Master paused and then asked Amar, “Now tell me, which traveler was truly thirstier for water?”

Amar thought for a moment and replied, “The second traveler, Master. He worked hard to quench his thirst.”

The Zen Master smiled and explained, “Exactly, my dear Amar. Ravi’s thirst for musical knowledge is like that of the second traveler. He works hard, tirelessly seeking to quench his thirst for learning. Your journey is unique, and your dedication will determine your success. Embrace the process, and let the thirst for knowledge drive you forward.”

Amar reflected on his master’s words. From that day on, he redirected his focus, embracing the challenge with renewed determination. Both disciples, Amar and Ravi, learned that the key to success lay not just in the expertise they possessed but in their relentless thirst for learning.

And so, the music echoed through the halls of the Zen Master’s abode, as both disciples harmonized their melodies of growth and perseverance. The tale of Amar and Ravi serves as a reminder to us all: in the symphony of life, the thirst for learning is the melody that propels us toward success and fulfillment.
